Work on Still Life & do Color Splash Exercise on one of your Still Life images. Don't forget you can get extra credit by doing one or all of the tutorials to your still life images. Due April 25/26 Work on Still Life. Add artistic brush strokes for 2pts. extra credit per image - can add up to 3 images for a total of 6 points.

Assignment: Until now most of your photos have been a kind of found art – the photograph captures something beautiful already existing in the world. This week we'll extend your creative control beyond the camera to the scene itself. In still life photography you arrange the scene, choose the background, and alter the lighting however you want. You should take time to arrange each shot just how you like it. There are plenty of second chances to get the shot right in still life photography. Think about composition, background, unity & variety. You may use my props or bring in your own. Please be respectful of the items that we have to work with here. EXAMPLES HERE
An image which goes beyond the physical world as we know it. It usually shows something which would be impossible in real life or tampers with the line defining what is real and what is imaginary.
For the next 8 weeks, we will be creating artistic blends between the real and unreal, photographic and non-photographic, & more!
