Everyone can take a picture, but what makes a great photograph? And why are some photographs better than others? Well, first of all, “good composition” is the key to a great photo, however, good equipment and being in the right place at the right time factor in too.
So, how does one develop good composition? The answer is -- by learning the rules of composition. And after learning the rules, the next step is -- practice, practice, practice! Furthermore, one should always take the time to review and critically evaluate one’s photographs because learning what strategies were successful and what needs improvement are critical to developing a photographic eye. In this webquest -- you’ll learn how to develop your photographic skill and ability.
